Students in the General Courses program can enroll in a variety of SDSU courses at undergraduate or graduate levels with American students. These courses range from economics to geography, engineering to art just to name a few. Students in the General Courses program may choose classes in any of SDSU’s departments – except in the College of Business Administration – provided that the students are qualified and the classes have space.

Students in the General Courses program are not permitted to enroll in any courses in the College of Business Administration,  including:

  • Accounting (ACCTG)
  • Business Administration (BA)
  • Finance (FIN)
  • Management (MGT)
  • Management Information Systems (MIS)
  • Marketing (MKTG)

It is important to note that the Department of Economics (ECON) is considered as a General Courses department and students who are only interested in enrolling in ECON courses should apply to the General Courses Program.
