Business Certificate Program

SDSU’s Business Certificate is available through the Semester at SDSU program of SDSU Global Campus.

Students with an advanced level of English proficiency who are enrolled in the Semester at SDSU program may expand their business knowledge by focusing in SDSU College of Business courses.

Students can select from courses in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Management, and Marketing. Other business-related courses in departments such as Economics are available. Consult with the Semester at SDSU advisor regarding the options.

  Choose 12 undergraduate units or 9 graduate units of SDSU business courses per semester.
• Official Transcript
  Credits earned are listed on an official SDSU transcript and may be transferable to other universities.

Students must receive a C or higher in each course to receive a certificate at the end of the program.

Please note that Global Campus cannot guarantee participation in specific university courses. Students enroll in classes on a space-available basis. Some classes may have pre-requirements.

An F-1 student in this program that has been enrolled for one academic year is eligible to apply for Optional Practical Training (OPT).
