With Semester at SDSU, you can enroll in more than 3,000 undergraduate and graduate class sections at SDSU. You can earn credits that will appear on an official SDSU transcript and easily transfer to other universities. You can also choose from a variety of certificate programs while earning college credits.

Business English Certificate
Planning on working in an English-speaking business environment? The International Business English (IBE) program is a customized certificate program designed for students and professionals with intermediate to advanced English- language proficiency who are interested in learning more about American business practices as they relate to business around the world.
Social Entrepreneurship Certificate
Our Social Entrepreneurship (SE) certificate program will show you how to solve social problems using creative entrepreneurial skills. You’ll examine various problems facing our society, analyze current business trends, and study innovative social entrepreneurships. You’ll gain the knowledge, tools, and language resources necessary to create a business that can positively affect social change for the future. These courses also contain opportunities for field trips and volunteering with local social enterprises. The program is ideal for students with high-intermediate to advanced English-language proficiency.
Fulbright English for Graduate Studies Program
This 3-week pre-academic program is designed exclusively for incoming Fulbright foreign students. The program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs as part of its Fulbright Program, the U.S. government’s flagship international exchange program supported by the people of the United States and partner countries around the world. Want to teach English abroad? Our Teach English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certificate program can help you become an English instructor in classrooms around the world.
